Abstract
The present invention relates to ClpB expressing bacteria and their impact on obesity. The present invention relates to bacterial ClpB protein and ClpB expressing bacteria and their impact on eating disorders. The invention further relates to compositions comprising antibiotic directed against at least one ClpB expressing bacterium as well as probiotics not expressing ClpB protein and their use in the treatment or prevention of eating disorders. The invention also relates to diagnostic tools for determining whether a subject is likely to respond to a method of treating eating disorders and to methods of immunization against eating disorders.
