Abstract

A light-emitting device () includes a light-transmitting first base material (), a light-transmitting second base material (), and a plurality of light-emitting units (). The light-emitting units () are located between the first base material () and the second base material (). The light-emitting units () emit light having a peak at a first wavelength. In addition, the light-emitting device () includes a light-transmitting region located between the plurality of light-emitting units (). Further, the second base material () includes an absorption layer (). The absorption layer () is a layer that particularly absorbs light of the first wavelength.
