Abstract

An article identification apparatus () includes an article identification information acquisition unit () that acquires article identification information of an article, an image acquisition unit () that acquires an image of an attached object attached to the article, a group identification information acquisition unit () that acquires group identification information for identifying a group to which the article belongs by processing the image, and an article information acquisition unit () that acquires article information corresponding to a combination of the acquired group identification information and the acquired article identification information.
