Abstract
There is provided an inkjet printing apparatus including: a print head having an ejection opening surface on which a plurality of ejection units each provided with an ejection opening for ejecting ink are arrayed in a first direction; a wiping member configured to wipe the ejection opening surface; and a moving unit configured to move the wiping member in a second direction crossing the first direction, wherein a longitudinal direction of the wiping member is inclined with respect to an edge of the print head located downstream in the second direction and is substantially in parallel with a direction defined by an edge of the ejection unit.
