Abstract
A vehicle control device () includes a recognizer () that recognizes a surrounding situation of an automatically driven vehicle, and a driving controller () that automatically controls acceleration/deceleration and steering of the automatically driven vehicle on the basis of a result of the surrounding situation recognized by the recognizer and also includes a situation information acquirer that acquires situation information indicating an in-vehicle situation of an automatically driven vehicle, a detector that detects a forgotten item that is left in the automatically driven vehicle on the basis of the situation information acquired by the situation information acquirer, and a controller that controls the automatically driven vehicle on the basis of a result of the detection of the detector.
