Abstract
[Object] To provide a lighting device and a display device that can prevent contact between a reflective sheet having a metal film and solder firmly fixed to terminal areas of LEDs that are disposed in LED openings of the reflective sheet. [Solution] A lighting deviceincludes: a plurality of LEDsserving as backlight light sources; an LED substratemounted with the plurality of LEDs; a reflective sheethaving a plurality of LED openingsin which the plurality of LEDsare disposed, respectively, and having a metal film on a surface of the reflective sheetopposite to a surface of the reflective sheetthat faces the LED substrate; and a supportthat supports the reflective sheetat a higher position than a height of solderfirmly fixed to terminal areas of the LEDsthat face the LED substrate
