Abstract

An turbocharger with an electric motor () includes a housing (), stator (), and motor rotor. The housing () has first stator fixing section () and a second stator fixing section () formed in an inner peripheral surface of the housing () that fixes the stator () in the housing. The stator () has a first fixed section () formed in an outer peripheral surface of the stator () fitted to the first stator fixing section () and a second fixed section () that has a smaller outer diameter than the first fixed section () fitted to the second stator fixing section () in an outer peripheral surface of the stator (). A large clearance section having a space is formed between the inner peripheral surface of the housing and the outer peripheral surface of the stator. The instant invention allows precise positioning of the stator and improved heat conduction.
