Abstract
Disclosed is a supported catalyst and methods to prepare and use the supported catalyst in an oxidative coupling of methane (OCM) reaction. The supported catalyst can contain MnWOor MnWOnanostructures that are in contact with the surface of a sodium containing silicon dioxide support material. The supported MnWOcatalyst can have an active MnWOcrystal phase.
