Abstract
A surgical stapling device () includes a frame (), a pusher (), a clamping plate assembly (), a holder (), and a stapling plate (). The pusher () is movable in relation to the frame () between a retracted position and an advanced position. The pusher () is operatively associated with the holder (), the clamping plate assembly (), and the stapling plate () such that movement of the pusher () between the retracted and the advanced positions effects movement of the (), the clamping plate assembly (), and the stapling plate () to one of their respective retracted or advanced positions.
