Abstract

The present invention relates to a nuclear reactor (), in particular a liquid-metal-cooled reactor, provided with a separation structure () between hot header () and cold header (), narrower in the upper portion () for containment of the headers of the fuel assemblies and wider in the lower element () at the active part () of the core, with a variously shaped connecting element () between the lower element () and the upper element (), and with heat exchangers () positioned between the upper portion () of said separation structure () and the reactor vessel (), which engage on the connecting element () via vertical ducts () for being fed with hot primary fluid leaving the core ().
