Abstract
The invention relates to a method for calibrating a treatment probe comprising at least one cylindrical transducer for generating high-intensity focused ultrasound in a target focus point, the probe being designed to be electrically connected to a power supply source for supplying an electrical signal for the power supply of the transducer, characterised in that the method comprises a step () of adjusting a frequency of the electrical signal for the power supply of the transducer in such a way that the variation between the maximum vibration intensity and the minimum vibration intensity of the transducer along the width thereof is minimal.
