Abstract

The present invention relates to synthetic saccharides of general formula (I): V*—[U—U—U]—V—O-L-NHthat are related to carbapenem-resistantcapsular polysaccharide and conjugates thereof. Said conjugates and pharmaceutical composition containing said conjugates are useful for prevention and/or treatment of diseases associated with carbapenem-resistant. Furthermore, the synthetic saccharides of general formula (I): V*—[U—U—U]—V—O-L-NHare useful as marker in immunological assays for detection of antibodies against carbapenem-resistantbacteria.
