Abstract
A composition is provided which contains a fluorinated alcohol represented by formula (1) and a charge transporting compound:CHFOH  (1)nF and mF are each independently an integer of 1 or more and satisfy 2nF+1≥mF. An amount of hydrogen fluoride generated from the fluorinated alcohol under atmospheric pressure at 25° C. is 5.0 ppm by volume or less.
