Abstract

A linear shaft motor () has a slider () and a tubular magnetic shaft (). The slider () includes an oblong cuboid shaped motor housing () having a rectangular cross-section with a longitudinal central bore (). The motor housing () includes at least two longitudinal cooling holes () which are part of an integrated fluid cooling circuit. The at least two longitudinal cooling holes (-) are distributed symmetrically at a left and at a right side of the central bore (), whereas the central axis () of any of the longitudinal cooling holes (-) lays below the topmost portion () of the central bore () and above the lowermost portion () of the central bore ().
