Disclosed is a trim unit () for an electrical switch including a trim plate () that presents an opening () and a control member (') that is received in the opening (). In the trim unit, the trim plate () is mounted on a plane front face of a backplate () that includes a holder () for holding the control member () in the opening (). An electrical switch includes an accessory mechanism and such a trim unit.
