Aspects of the present invention relate to a plant-protecting RN Ai composition comprising plant-protecting double-stranded RNA adsorbed onto Layered Double Hydroxide (LDH) particles, and to methods for protecting a plant comprising the step of administering to a plant an RNAi composition comprising plant-protecting double-stranded RNA adsorbed onto LDH particles.
