Abstract
A service robot and a method for controlling the same are disclosed. The service robot comprises a main body () and a base (). A motor (), a transmission mechanism () and a wheel () are provided in an inner cavity of the base (). The transmission mechanism () is connected with the motor () and the wheel () respectively. The wheel () is disposed below the transmission mechanism (). A space for the transmission mechanism () to move up and down is formed in the inner cavity of the base ().
