Abstract

An information equipmentlocated in a consumer's facilityincludes a reception unitand a transmission unitthat performs transmission and reception of a command conforming to a predetermined protocol with a HEMSvia a network connected to the HEMS, and receives an operational instruction from the HEMSand a control unitthat controls an operation of the information equipmentaccording to the operational instruction. The transmission unittransmits a breakdown notification message indicating that the network has had a breakdown to the HEMSwhen the network is restored after the breakdown.
