Abstract
A display apparatus is provided with a framethat is mounted to the head portion of an observer, and an image display devicewhich is attached to the frame, an image display deviceis provided with an image forming device, an optical systemthat guides an image from the image forming deviceto a pupil of an observer, and a support memberthat supports the image forming device. When a direction of the support memberthat corresponds to a first direction of an image is set as an X direction, and a direction of the support memberthat corresponds to a second direction of the image, which is different from the first direction, is set as a Y direction, a support surfaceof the support memberthat supports the image forming deviceis curved along the X direction and/or the Y direction, and therefore, the image forming deviceis curved.
