An optical aiming scope mount () includes a base () configured to attach to a weapon system. At least two longitudinally spaced apart scope mounting rings () are on the base. A first chamber () is formed in a portion of the base (). A plurality of electrical connectors () on the base () are operatively joined by a circuit () at least partially located in the first chamber () to provide a power/data distribution bus.
