Abstract
An outboard motorincludes an engine, a fuel tank, a propellerwhich is configured to be driven by the engine, a case memberwhich rotatably supports the propeller, a recoil starterwhich is configured to cause the engineto start by manually rotating a crankshaft of the engine, and a cover memberwhich is mounted on the case memberso as to cover the engine, the fuel tank, and the recoil starter. The recoil starterincludes a recoil cover, which is formed with an air passage hole
