A bedside patient monitor comprises a clinician support system. The clinician support system comprises at least one of the following modules of: a disease-specified decision module (), disease-specified treatment module () or disease-specified observation module (). The bedside monitor comprises a first interface () for manual patient-related input and a second interface () for continuous input of a sensor signal.
