Abstract
The present disclosure provides azeotrope or azeotrope-like compositions including trifluoroiodomethane (CFI) and hexafluoropropene (HFP), and a method of forming an azeotrope or azeotrope-like composition comprising the step of combining hexafluoropropene (HFP) and trifluoroiodomethane (CFI) to form an azeotrope or azeotrope-like comprising hexafluoropropene (HFP) and trifluoroiodomethane (CFI) having a boiling point of about −31.21° C.±0.30° C. at a pressure of about 14.21 psia±0.30 psia.
