Abstract
A driver airbagis formed by sewing a front paneland a rear paneltogether. The rear panelhas a horizontal first tuck portion, a second tuck portionextending from a right upper side toward a left lower side, and a third tuck portionextending from a left upper side toward a right lower side. The tuck portionand the tuck portionintersect in an upper part of the rear panel. Since most of the second and third tuck portionsare located in an upper half section of the rear panel, the upper part of the driver airbaghas a larger thickness than that of a lower part when the driver airbagis inflated completely.
