Abstract

A terminal-equipped wire (X) includes a wire () with a core () covered by with insulation coating (). A terminal () including a wire barrel () is crimped onto the core () exposed at an end of the wire (). An anticorrosive () is attached to cover the crimped wire barrel (). The wire barrel () has barrel pieces (B) extending from side edges of a bottom plate. The core () is placed on the bottom plate so that a tip of the core () is retracted rearwardly of front edges of the barrel pieces (B) and the barrel pieces (B) are crimped to embrace the core () while extending ends of the barrel pieces (B) butt against each other. A core confirmation opening () is formed in a front of the crimped wire barrel () by widening an interval between corresponding butting parts of the barrel pieces (B).
