Abstract
Disclosed herein is a composition comprising at least one polymyxin or a salt thereof represented by formula (I) wherein Ris an aliphatic linear or branched C-Cacyl group, or (I') Ris —CH(CH), —CHCH(CH), —CH(CH)CHCH, or —CHCH; Ris —CH(CH), —CHCH(CH), or —CH(CH)CHCH; each of R, R, R, Rand Ris either —(CH)CHNHor —(CH)CHN(CHSOM); wherein x is 0 or 1; wherein M is a monovalent cation; and wherein at least three of R, R, R, Rand Rare —(CH)CHN(CHSOM).
