Abstract

There is provided a carrier () for solid-state lighting devices (). The carrier () is intended to be arranged in a light bulb and is formed from one single flat and formable substrate (), which has been bent to a generally tube-shaped form. The carrier () includes: an annular mounting portion () for mounting the carrier () inside the light bulb; and two or more strips () extending generally parallel to each other from the annular mounting portion () and being separated from each other in a tangential direction of the annular mounting portion (). Each strip () has one or more electrically conducting paths () and a solid-state lighting device () mounted thereon. There is also provided a method for producing a tube-shaped carrier (). The strips are easy to shape by bending, twisting and/or folding, resulting in a significant freedom in the positioning of the SSL devices.
