Abstract
The present invention relates to a battery carrier for an electric motor vehicle, having a trayhaving a baseand a peripheral wall which protrudes from the base and a flangewhich protrudes from the wall so as to be orientated in an outward direction, characterized in that the trayis integrally produced as a folding component and in a materially integral manner from a plate, wherein in at least one the corner regionof the peripheral wall there is formed on a side wallat least one joining platewhich overlaps the adjacent side walland the joining plateand the adjacent side wallare joined to each other.
