Abstract

A mobile terminal including a wireless communication processor configured to receive at least one of first information on a viewing history of a content and second information on at least one application saved in a memory of a preset external display device; a memory configured to store at least one of a preset application, the first information and the second information; a display configured to display an execution screen of the preset application; and a controller configured to display an icon of the at least one application on the execution screen based on the second information, display at least one of a recent content list run on a specific application corresponding to a specific icon and a recommended content list on a prescribed region of the execution screen based on at least one of the first information and the second information, in response to a first touch input to the specific icon among icons of the at least one or more applications.
