Abstract

To improve responsiveness of fuel supply control, a rotary carburetorhas a nozzleincluding a fuel discharge portand a needledisposed coaxially with the nozzleand disposed with a portion inserted into the nozzle. The needlecan be displaced relative to the nozzleto change an effective area of the fuel discharge port. The rotary carburetorhas an electric motorfor displacing the needlealong an axis, and a drive mechanism componentinterposed between the electric motorand the needleand converting a rotational movement of the electric motor into a linear movement.
