Abstract

A compressor wheel () of a compressor (A) of an exhaust-gas turbocharger (), having a hub (); and having a multiplicity of non-recessed blades () which are arranged on the hub () and which have in each case a blade leading edge (A) and a blade trailing edge (B). The blade leading edges (A) define an inlet area (A) which is the area swept by the blade leading edges (A) as the compressor wheel () rotates. The blade trailing edges (B) define an outlet area (A) which is the area swept by the blade trailing edges (B) as the compressor wheel () rotates. The ratio A/Ais >60%.
