Abstract

A container comprises a housingthat comprises a boxand a lidthat is hingedly attached to the box. The lidcomprises a front wallthat has an inner surface, an outer surfaceand a bottom edge. The box comprises a front wallthat has an upper edgeand an access region. At least some portion of the upper edgeof the box is formed by at least some portion of the access region. The container also comprises an inner packagedisposed at least partially within the housing and at least partially defining an interior volume for housing consumer goods. The inner packagecomprises a first layerand a second layer. The first layercomprises a flapwhich is attached to the inner surface of the lid and is configured to be releasably attached to a sealing regionof the second layerto open and close the inner package by opening and closing the lid of the container. The container also comprises an insertpositioned between the inner surfaceof the front wallof the box and the outer surfaceof the front wallof the inner package. The inserthas an upper edgewhich is accessible via the access region
