Abstract
A master link for a track chain is disclosed. The master link may include a link body extending from a first end to a second end and a plurality of apertures extending through the link body. The plurality of apertures may include a first aperture positioned proximate the first end, a second aperture unconnected to the first aperture and positioned proximate the second end, and a third aperture arranged between the first and second apertures. A first gap may extend between and connect the third and second apertures. The master link may also include a threaded first fastener that is configured to extend through the link body across the third aperture.
