Abstract

To make it possible to generate sinusoidal pattern light as intended and to prevent the occurrence of high-frequency waviness in a height image even if a dimension of a light emitting surface of a light emitting diode is equal to or less than a dimension of a half cycle of a sine-wave. The dimension of the light emitting surface of the light emitting diodeis set to be equal to or less than a half cycle of a sine-wave of the pattern light. A plurality of light emitting diodesare arranged in a direction in which illuminance of the pattern light does not change, and are arranged to be deviated in a direction in which the illuminance of the pattern light changes.
