Abstract
A motion detecting sectiondetects the attitude of a head-mounted display device worn on the head of a user. An image generating sectiongenerates an image in accordance with the detected attitude of the head-mounted display device. An image providing sectionprovides the head-mounted display device with the generated image. When the attitude of the head-mounted display device is changed during display of the image including an information element, the image generating sectiondisplays the information element in such a manner that the information element moves along with the image if the amount of change in the attitude is smaller than a predetermined first angle. The image generating sectionfurther displays the information element in a position moved by a predetermined second angle in the image if the amount of change in the attitude reaches the predetermined first angle.
