A medicine packaging apparatushas a medicine preparing and dispensing portion, a packaging portion, a pre-packaging photographing portionfor reading identification information attached to a medicine in a phase before the medicines are packaged by the packaging portion, an individually supplying portionwhich can individually supply the plurality of medicines received from the side of the medicine preparing and dispensing portionto the side of the pre-packaging photographing portionand a control part. The individually supplying portionincludes a receiving portionfor receiving the medicines from the side of the medicine preparing and dispensing portionand a delivering devicewhich can perform a delivery action for delivering the medicines by individually holding the medicines in the receiving portionand releasing the medicines toward the side of the pre-packaging photographing portion.
