Abstract

A cosmetic is characterized by containing a polymer which is produced by polymerizing a fluorine atom-containing monomer represented by formula (I) (wherein Rrepresents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; Rrepresents a hydrogen atom or a fluorine atom; m is an integer of 0 or 1 to 4; and n is an integer of 1 to 12), (B) a betaine monomer represented by formula (II) (wherein Rrepresents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; Rand Rindependently represent a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms; p represents an integer of 1 to 4: and q represents an integer of 1 to 4) and (C) a monomer component containing an alkyl (meth)acrylate represented by formula (III) (wherein Rrepresents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group and Rrepresents an alkyl group having 8 to 22 carbon atoms) with one another.
