Abstract
A transducer system, comprising an electrodynamic acoustic transducer () with a membrane (), a plurality of voice coils () electrically switched in series, and a magnet system () is presented, wherein just an outer tap/terminal (T) of the serially connected voice coils () is electrically connected to an audio output of an amplifier (). Moreover, a method for feeding a sound signal to an electrodynamic acoustic transducer () is presented, wherein the voice coils () are driven by an audio signal just via an outer tap/terminal (T) of the serially connected voice coils ().
