Abstract

The present application discloses methods and apparatuses for information transmission. An exemplary method may include establishing, by the first terminal, an information transmission channel between the second terminal and the external network based on the connection between the first terminal and the second terminal and the connection between the first terminal and the external network. The method may also include transferring an information request, sent by the second terminal, to the external network through the information transmission channel. The method may further include transferring received information corresponding to the information request to the second terminal through the information transmission channel. The second terminal may directly acquire information from the external network or upload information to the external network, rather than passively receiving the retrieval or push data from the first terminal. It may achieve a seamless connection for the information transmission between the second terminal and the external network. Accordingly, it would effectively improve the efficiency of the information transmission.
