Abstract
Provided is a separator for a nonaqueous electrolyte battery, including a porous substrate and an adhesive porous layer that is provided on one side or both sides of the porous substrate and contains an adhesive resin. The ratio of the standard deviation of the areal weight of the adhesive porous layer to the mean of the areal weight of the adhesive porous layer (g/m) (standard deviation/mean) is 0.3 or less.
