Abstract
A method of reducing the cooling time of disks of a brake () of an aircraft wheel () fitted with a heat screen () extending between the wheel and the disks of the brake and mounted to rotate on an aircraft undercarriage about an axis of rotation, the method including making obstacles () on the heat screen, which obstacles project from a face of the heat screen that faces towards the brake disks.
