Abstract

A gown () includes a body covering () disposed between a first sleeve () and a second sleeve (). The body covering portion includes a first layer () coupled to a second layer () by an adhesive () comprising a unactivated colorant, such as an unactivated dye (). The unactivated colorant transitions to an activated colorant () when wet, and the second layer absorbs the activated colorant.
