Abstract

A wire with terminal, () includes a barrel () formed in a rear end part of a terminal fitting () such that two crimping pieces () extend from both widthwise side edges of a base plate () and crimped to surround an exposed area () of a core () with extending end parts (E) of the crimping pieces () held close to each other, and a mold () covering the entire exposed area of the core () including a crimped part to the barrel () in a liquid-tight manner. A front end of the core () is disposed behind those of the crimping pieces (). The barrel () is formed with a communicating portion () for causing a crimping space () of the barrel () to be open in an outer peripheral surface of the barrel () on a side before the front end of the core ().
