Abstract
The invention relates to a housing comprising a battery compartment () that can be closed by a pivotable cover (). A torsion-resistant strip () connects the cover () to the housing. When the battery () has been inserted, the strip () lies underneath the battery (). The cover () can be detached from the housing, but is captively connected to the housing by means of the strip (). The cover () forms a handle, by means of which batteries () can be removed simply from the battery compartment () in conjunction with the strip ().
