A radial compressor (), with a compressor rotor having moving blades and with a compressor housing () accommodating an insert piece () and a diffuser (), in which the insert piece () delimits a flow duct leading to the moving blades of the rotor and the diffuser () a flow duct leading away from the moving blades of the rotor at least in sections, and in which the diffuser () is designed as bladeless diffuser and as an integral part of the insert piece ().
