Abstract
A closure () protects telecommunications circuitry from water and dust. The closure () includes a base () that has a sidewall () that extends upwardly from a bottom (), and the sidewall () has at least one cable port (). The closure () also includes a cover () that attaches to the base () to close an interior () of the closure (). Further, a galvanic anode () is removably secured to the sidewall () of the base () of the closure () and electronic circuitry () is disposed within the interior () of the closure (). The electronic circuitry () is active electronic circuitry.
