Abstract
In an embodiment, in a multilayer ceramic capacitor, a first insulative layer-having parts A, Acovered by the first partof each external electrodeis provided on one third-direction face, while a second insulative layer-having parts A, Acovered by the second partof each external electrodeis provided on the other third-direction face, of the capacitor bodyof the multilayer ceramic capacitor. The multilayer ceramic electronic component can prevent moisture intrusion into the component body as much as possible, even when the multilayer ceramic electronic component is made thin.
