Abstract

The invention relates to a plant having increased resistance to pathogens, wherein the protein SOBIR1 fromor a homologous protein, which is capable of interacting with at least one of the PRR receptor proteins RLP30 or RLP1, and at least one of the PRR receptor proteins RLP30 or RLP1 are overexpressed in comparison with the wild-type plant or are newly synthesized. The pathogens are preferably fungi, in particular from the genus, and bacteria, in particular from the genus. The invention further relates to a method for producing a plant having increased resistance to pathogens.
