A tirecomprises a tread portion, a tread edge Te provided in the tread portion, a shoulder main grooveextending continuously in the tire circumferential direction in the tread portion, and a shoulder land regionbeing defined between the tread edge Te and the shoulder main groove. The shoulder land regionis provided with a shoulder lateral grooveconnecting between the shoulder main grooveand the tread edge Te and a first shoulder lug grooveextending axially inwardly from the tread edge Te and terminating within the shoulder land region. An angle θof the shoulder lateral groovewith respect to the tire axial direction is larger by 10 to 40 degrees than an angle θof the first shoulder lug groovewith respect to the tire axial direction.
