Abstract

A hydraulic implement () for portable use includes a hydraulic pump (), a pump housing (), a hydraulic cylinder () with a piston rod (), a hydraulic tank (), hydraulic lines, a compensating device, a manually operable hydraulic control valve (), a rechargeable battery () which is accommodated on the implement (), and two tool halves () that are connected to the piston rod () via pivoting arms (). Each tool half () has a wall section () that extends perpendicularly to the extension of the longitudinal axis of the piston rod (). When the tool halves are closed, both wall sections () together form a flattened end region () that runs perpendicularly to the extension of the longitudinal axis of the piston rod ().
